A mere 5-10 minute stroll takes you to the cinder track, a scenic walking route that meanders into Whitby or leads in the opposite direction to the charming coastal destinations of Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a spacious living room adorned with beamed ceilings, plush sofas, and a wood burner. The open-plan kitchen flows into the dining area, with a large table for sociable gatherings. The kitchen boasts underfloor heating, a breakfast island and a double oven for family feasts. There is also a utility room and a separate toilet. As you ascend the stairs, the master bedroom awaits, boasting a stunning beamed ceiling and an en-suite shower room. The family room offers an indulgent super kingsize bed and an additional single bed with a trundle bed. The third bedroom features comfortable twin beds ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We had a great 5 days in Larpool Mews. Peaceful location, tucked away down a private road, yet only 20mins walk from Whitby harbour. Ideal for exploring the cinder track line to Robin Hood’s bay and the coastal path. House was well equipped, beds very comfy and great bathrooms. Large living room and fire stove. Kitchen dining room was huge and helped cater for a party of 9 with ease. Only issue was the strong drain smell when running dishwasher. Just a reminder to only park in the yard at the front of property, as space at the rear is for neighbours only. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Great location, the cottage could do with a full deep clean and all the windows cleaning. Unfortunately some broken items were left for guests to use, broken drinking glass’. Outside seating tired and in need of replacement as sun loungers dated and uncomfortable. Attention to detail, patio area could be made lovely. Unfortunately unsafe for children due to access road beside patio which is well used by neighbours and in constant use making it difficult to allow children outside.
