In its own mature gardens in the middle of the North York Moors National Park, this superb detached barn conversion has been fully modernised yet retains all its character and charm. Furnished and equipped to a very good standard the house boasts three bathrooms, enabling both couples and families to make the best use of this holiday home. It enjoys commanding views across the spectacular surrounding countryside. There is excellent walking around the property and easy access to the moors, better known as Heartbeat Country. A steam train leaves from Glaisdale railway station in the summer providing transport to Whitby and forms part of the North York Moors Steam Railway. You are within a short distance of Whitby, with horse riding, fishing, sailing and bird watching to be enjoyed. Shop 0.25 miles, pub and restaurant 1.25 miles.

The cottage is spacious with all mod cons. Cleanliness is outstanding. The heating is there when ever you need it and the WiFi is excellent, there is however only one TV. There is a fabulous well kept large garden and the surroundings are perfect for dog walkers. We totally found limber view to have the peace and tranquility we were craving.

Beautiful tranquil location with stunning views and the garden was simply gorgeous. The kitchen was well equipped and all rooms were spacious but cosy and there were plenty of board games etc for entertainment. The beds were comfy as was the living room and we’d hoped it might be cool enough to put the log burner on but we were graced with warm weather. Owners next door were very friendly and welcoming. Being picky, I’d say both en-suite showers weren’t great, the downstairs one a bit lightweight and upstairs very small, however there was a perfectly good one in the main bathroom. It is quite remote, so car definitely needed as the village shop isn’t always open so make sure you arrive with provisions. Again, being picky, there was no milk in the fridge upon arrival for that well needed cuppa which we have had in most other houses we’ve stayed in but thankfully we had purchased some on our way. A lovely cake was provided however which we very much enjoyed. There are some nice pubs in the area, The Wheatsheaf in Egton being our favourite for dinner. The house is close to Whitby, Goathland and the Moors for some stunning journeys and highly recommend Sandend beach, Runswick Bay, as well as Robin Hoods Bay all within a 30 minute drive. Would definitely stay again. It was so peaceful.
