Maddy Cart House is a studio set in the grounds of Maddy House Farm which dates back to the 15th century. It is surrounded by over 20 acres of its own fields, with breathtaking views across the moorland towards Castleton. The Heritage Coast of Yorkshire and Whitby are easily accessed, and you can take a leisurely journey through the Esk Valley. Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington are a liitle further. A must when visiting this area are the smugglers coves of Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay. Historic homes and castles such as Uncomb Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard are all within easy driving distance. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Small but had everything needed, owner friendly and helpful, stunning location overlooking Esk Valley. There in a heatwave so more ventilation would have been nice but conditions were exceptional and owner is hoping to rectify subject to planning. Overall a pleasant and relaxing break for one man and his dog.

It's a nice cottage for a short break. It's a studio with the beds and kitchen sharing the same space. It has a beautiful and relaxing view. It hasn't got washing machine but, this is not really necessary for a short break. Although, I am sure that if you need to wash your clothes, Roman, the kind landlady will do it for you.
