The cottage is clean & comfortable but cold do with a bit of a paint refresh in some area's but that wouldn't me booking again. Another positive factor is you have 2 toilets ,1on each level.

We always check itâs availability first whenever we are planning to visit Whitby. The location is brilliant, only a 5 minute flat walk to the harbour and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We always find Sleepers Cottage to be comfortable and cosy and has everything we need for a relaxing stay. We noticed that taps which were a little stiff on our last stay had been replaced. The owners are always friendly and helpful if you ever need to contact them. The cottage has lovely views from the lounge windows across the River Esk, across to the harbour and abbey. The cottage has its own off road parking space which is a great bonus in Whitby. We always enjoy our stays at Sleepers Cottage and always recommend it to our friends. We will hopefully be back at Sleepers again soon.

A few minor issues which the owner is addressing for future occupants but nothing to detract from our lovely peaceful stay.
