Cosy wonderfully located flat with fantastic views. We had a lovely week. Minor improvements could make it even better; new saucepans, better mattresses and a deep clean. Would still recommend.

Good location. However, standard of cleanliness poor. Worn out bedding. Hand towel in bathroom had bleach stains and hole. Hard, thin mattresses on all beds. Settee dilapidated with debris down side of cushions. Mould around windows.Cheap skate makeover with plastic floral arrangements and plants that were all dusty and some tatty. Hot tap in bathroom basin broken and unusable. Hot tap in kitchen sink plumbed in back-to-front. Definitely NOT worth the money and absolutely NOT 4.5 stars. Very disappointed. Feeling ripped off. The view was perfect as the name suggests, but sadly that was where the perfection ended!

Fabulous view, which just drew you to the window every time you went into the kitchen area. One morning I spent 20 mins leaning out the window just watching the sun rise from the sea to the abbey. One of our party had limited mobility so the lift was a necessity. You can hear people upstairs walking about but not noisy. Seagulls are quite noisy but aren’t they anywhere near the sea? A mother and baby seagull were perched on the roof most of the time we were there, which I found endearing. We were grateful for the welcome pack ( milk, coffee, biscuits, sugar sachets) and salt & pepper. There were loo rolls, shower gel , hand wash. We left two lots of hand wash and bleach for the next people to use the accommodation. The tv was logged into Netflix, which was handy. Finding the actual property using the directions given from cottages.com were ok up to the part where you get to the music shop on. You then turn right and go past Bottham’s bakery ( lovely sandwiches and cakes at reasonable prices) when you come to the estate agents on the right ( opposite a baby blue fronted newsagents ) you turn up the narrow road. We parked outside the newsagents as we had a disabled badge. There is a bit of an incline up the the tower apartment but ok to push a wheelchair up. We left the wheelchair on the bottom floor behind the external door , tucked away. I would definitely stay again but not with my mum, who had restricted mobility. 10 steps up the external staircase , 5 up to the lift then about another 6 when out of the lift to access the landing. We all loved our stay even though the steps were challenging for some at times.
