You can unwind in the homely sitting room benefiting from cosy seating and a woodburner, there is also a more cosy and peaceful snug room which also comes with the added luxury of a woodburner. Perhaps in the summer months, you can spend your downtime in the gloriously bright conservatory which offers you a number of spots to sit and relish in this serene location. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and is complete to an exquisite standard, it also hosts a lovely breakfast table to enjoy your morning coffee at before the hectic day begins.

Three of the property's bedrooms rest on the first floor with fabulous en-suites complete with a touch of class. Head up to the second floor of Thwaitefield to discover the three further bedrooms, these rooms share access to a gorgeous and spacious bathroom giving you the option of an elegant bath or a separate shower cubicle. Soak up the sun while wandering the calming surrounding gardens at the property, the dogs and children can run and play whilst you enjoy an ice cold drink or two. This quaint and welcoming village also plays host to the famous railway station that features in the Harry Potter films. Also known for it's heritage steam railway on the Pickering to Whitby line. Breath-taking walking and cycling can be enjoyed right from your doorstep through the wonderful moorland scenery, as a wealth of idyllic paths and trails are easily available. As well as luscious countryside, you can head to the popular and fascinating market town of Pickering, or perhaps a day by the sea is on your to-do list, with the beautiful fishing port of Whitby less than 10 miles away.

The idyllic village of Goathland is set on the north eastern edge of the North York Moors National Park. It is surrounded by the rugged open moorlands which provide excellent walking country and on which sheep graze freely. The village has been popularised by the television programme Heartbeat. At the bottom of the village lies the station for the famous North York Moors Steam Railway. Here you can catch a train to Whitby or Pickering and relax as the train winds its way through the moors. Goathland is within easy reach of the East Coast towns of Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough, making it a great holiday base.
