The private entrance to the apartment is around the rear of the property where you have your own enclosed yard which is small but beautifully presented, with a Mediterranean feel, making this a nice space to sit out with a cup of coffee.

For those who wish to experience the wonders of this inspiring area, why not take a long, lazy walk amid the scenic beauty of the North York Moors National Park, which can be accessed by the heritage steam train winding its way through the rolling hills of heather? You can also explore quaint coastal villages such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes or Runswick Bay. Take in the sights along the seafront at Filey, Scarborough or Saltburn. The apartment itself is Lovely (although was a bit too warm for me on arrival as radiators were all on full lol) but it’s a lovely space and love the enclosed area , I’ve seen others feedback about noise from upstairs , yes the footfall can be noisy but it did t spoil our stay , everything you need is there for cooking (if you wanted to cook) but there are plenty of places to eat out (which we did as it was a break away and a rest) , the endeavour ship serve some lovely meals and the prices I thought were very reasonable , I would highly recommend eating there.the listing did say it had parking but unfortunately for us the parking was non existent (this was my biggest disappointment), it’s very narrow roads and double yellows on one side of all the roads around the area so couldn’t park on any street away from the apartment either, so we had to pay an extra £35 to park in the marina car park for our stay , thankfully we arrived Friday as Saturday when we went to check on the car the car park was completely full so we’d have struggled to find somewhere to park, I did contact cottages.com about this and they said they’d contacted owners regarding parking but we never heard anything (also disappointing)

The studio itself was beautiful inside . Well appointed and immaculate . But there was an issue with a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. Like a drainage smell . Noticeable throughout my stay . The rear entrance to the property was a wooden gate which had swollen which made it impossible for me to open . A neighbour had to kick it open for me . There had been a leak in a cupboard under the sink. It was soaking wet . I had seen on previous reviews , when the main part of the house was also occupied , it could be very noisy and some people had actually left the studio property early because of this . I didn’t think it could be that bad , but it was ! It felt like the other people were in the studio with me . I heard every noise , every footstep . I did enjoy my stay as I love Whitby anyway . I don’t think it is a good idea to rent out both properties at the same time to different families . I think a few adjustments need to be made before I would stay there again . I still enjoyed it though .

Lovely place to stay. The only thing wrong was the noise from upstair family. It was relentless banging from morning till night. No considerationing for us below. Never known anybody make that much noise. They was letting the kids run about. None stop. and bang .the adults was very heavy footed. Moving and dragging furniture about. I won't be back. Its a shame has its a nice place
