Carefully renovated retaining beautiful beams and roof trusses, Bluebell Barn has been converted into a spacious property, with great attention to detail. The open plan living area is filled with light, and boasts a roaring wood burner and polished concrete floors. This single-storey barn conversion also has three bedrooms, each complete with hairdryers and en-suite facilities. The large garden with a patio and comfortable garden furniture offers a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine on warm summer evenings.
Cyclists can enjoy the Sustrans National Cycle Route which passes close by, and there is also a variety of walks from the doorstep. Bluebell Barn also lies on the edge of historical Hagg Wood, where you can take a pleasant stroll. Local attractions include the Yorkshire Air Museum and the Yorkshire Museum of Farming. There is a good bus service into the historic city of York, and Grimston Bar park and ride also gives easy access into the heart of the city. Everything you could ever need and more! Lovely relaxing setting but still close to Park and Ride for York. Great countryside walks (even in the rain!) the house is very well equipped with comfortable beds and very powerful showers.

An exceptional luxurious property. The location was perfect for our stay and trip to York, the park and ride only 10 mins drive away. The property was immaculately clean with everything we could have wanted. The property was warm and welcoming I only wish we booked it for more than 3 nights. To spend winter or summer here would be fantastic. Excellent dog walks on the doorstep with near by Hoggs wood. Communication was excellent by the host.The only additional bonus would have be dressing gowns/ robes in the bedrooms.

If I could give more stars I would... we stayed over the New year week... and enjoyed every minute, the House has everything you'd need and more! Warm and cosy and lovely garden for the dog to run around in. Lovely long walks on the doorstep. We had no problem getting our shopping order delivered and a take away. So not to remote. We would definitely book again.
