WOW !! This is the best cottage I have stayed in by far. Spotless, homely, quiet, amazing. The owners have thought of literally everything you could need, little things like salt & pepper, tea, coffee & sugar, pint of milk, washing up liquid, etc, they even left us a complimentary bottle of wine and hand cooked crisps ❤️. The enclosed garden was an absolute godsend for our 2 year old Cavapoo, gave us great piece of mind to allow him to wander in and out. Beds were spacious, and very comfortable. I love that the living area is upstairs, allowing views across the fields and beyond. Fantastic welcome folder with ideas, information, recommendations for days out/food. It is so amazing I am having second thoughts on leaving this review as I will struggle to rebook if it gets too popular.

Lovely cottage for two in a peaceful village. Pocklington is just around the corner for shopping and it is a short drive to the P&R for York. Lots to see in the beautiful surrounding area. Hope to be back!

Just returned from a short break at Cartwheel Cottage. Exceptional cottage, spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, nice garden, very peaceful area and great location for visiting York and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we revisit York. Ros
