What a little gem , fully secure garden, small but perfectly formed . Peace and quiet. Everything you need is there. A gateway to travel to some stunning little places. Owner messages to make sure you are alright which is very thoughtful. Second stay and will be returning.

Located in a gorgeous village, easily commutable from the motorway and neighbouring village of Boroughbridge , where the nearest supermarket is located. Cottage comfortable and basics met. Bathroom needs a bit of Tlc and update, along with the entrance way. Apart from that all clean, comfy and adequate for a short stay.

Wanted to move in! Stayed for a week and did not want to leave! Owner texted on the day I was due offering assistance with directions if needed and the crisps and wine were most welcome on arrival. Cottage is located in a rural village and was the ideal location to explore all of north Yorkshire. Whilst there is no shop in the village there are good amenities in the near by towns of Thirsk or borroughbridge. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had a cosey and homely feel and was quiet and peaceful. Appreciated the extra touches such as the battery operated candles and the torch by the bed and thought had been given to provide everything needed for a lovely stay. In short great area, great cottage, great county and a great week 😃
