This is a wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable, bright and airy and was ideal for us and our two dogs and the gated garden was secure and had a fabulous view. We enjoyed being able to go out walking on the footpaths with broad grass-verges round the village. It’s extremely peaceful and there are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. We liked the cottage so much we have already rebooked for next year.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Holly Tree. Like a true home from home, the owners have thought of pretty much everything including a thoughtful message about meal deals at the local pub for the children. A beautiful, peaceful setting but within reach of everything needed. The children loved the badminton set in the garden, watching all the birds at the feeder and the goodies left just for them in the welcome basket. Super comfy beds left us feeling refreshed and ready for each day which we filled with fabulous days out in the area including York, Castle Howard and plenty of NT/EH properties. Loads for children too including chocolate tours, Eden camp and climbing the rocks at Brimham. We were really sad to leave. Great memeories made, thank you.
