An annexe to the owner's property, this Grade II listed former chapel house is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Howardian Hills and the historic market towns of Easingwold and Helmsley. With cosy and characterful accommodation, this Stillington cottage retains original features, with beamed ceilings, quarry tiled floors and a lovely Yorkist range in the sitting room, which houses a welcoming open fire and is a joy to relax around in the winter months. Don't be fooled by the main picture, it's the 'annex' on the first building, not the main double-fronted cottage. The village is in the middle of nowhere which is wonderful for the peace and quiet, but does mean a drive to get to anywhere else...

Couldn't even sit on the toilet seat. Traff8x noise from road incessant from 6.30am til 11.30 pm The lounge had two large chairs which took up far too much room. The tv wasn't situated at eye level. No place in bathroom for toiletries. The beds were very comfortable.
