Brookleigh is a charming cottage in the picturesque village of Hutton le Hole, praised for its warm, home-like atmosphere and scenic location. Guests have enjoyed the ample space, the well-equipped facilities, and the delightful garden. While some cleanliness and maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience has been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. While some guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable, others reported dust, dirt, and maintenance issues. The presence of both positive and negative feedback suggests that cleanliness is generally satisfactory but with room for improvement.
The location of Brookleigh is highly praised, with guests loving the picturesque village setting, the proximity to local amenities, and the easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors. The scenic views and peaceful environment contribute to a highly rated location.
Guests have found the cottage to be very comfortable, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The presence of books, toys, and a log fire adds to the comfort. However, some guests mentioned issues with beds and seating, suggesting that while comfort is generally high, there are areas that could be enhanced.
Facilities at Brookleigh are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, toys, and games. However, there are comments about the need for maintenance, such as mould in the kitchen, an inadequate shower, and a slippery patio. These issues suggest that while facilities are good, maintenance needs attention.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the welcome tray and flowers mentioned by guests, contributing to a positive experience. However, it is important to note that such personal touches, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Can I suggest some oven gloves and more than one tea towel would be useful in the kitchen. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a welcome pack waiting for us . The dogs loved the garden which in good weather we would have enjoyed sitting out in .
