Rose even organised some disabled furniture for us to use. We even got a message to say the property was ready earlier. Did struggle to get in the gate on arrival due to the gate sticking, but this was rectified straight away. A very tasty cake and milk greeted us on arrival which was a lovely surprise. The accommodation was comfortable and well looked after. The garden was also well kept. We enjoyed our week stay immensely. Jane

Great to have a secure garden for our little dog and ample parking. We didnât have any issues with road noise although others have mentioned it. We had lovely countryside views as well. Might be good to have a fan upstairs for the summer

The garden is very safe and dog friendly, and the proximity to the York Park and Rides a real plus, as are all the great eateries, pubs, takeaways, Co-op, PO, bakeries etc at nearby Stamford Bridge (we've never found such a well appointed little town with even a doctors surgery, dentist and vets!) Host Rose is a lovely and very friendly lady, with vast knowledge of the area and provided some scrumptious cake on arrival ! An excellent break thank you.
