As dusk sets in, retire to one of two bedrooms, both inviting and warmly furnished, one of which benefits from an en-suite shower room, whilst the other is serviced by a sleek bathroom with a roll-top bath. Stillington is a very pretty, small rural village lying half way between York and Helmsley. The village has a Post Office/shop, several high-quality pubs, Indian restaurant, fish and chip shop, hairdressers, sports and social club and antiques showroom. A network of footpaths and bridleways lead from the village to the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Howardian Hills. Stillington is close to the lovely Georgian town of Easingwold, plus Thirsk, Ripon, Harrogate, York, Malton and Helmsley are all within easy reach. The stunning North York Moors, Rievaulx and Fountains Abbeys, and Castle Howard are nearby. Further afield are the seaside resort of Scarborough and Flamingo Land Theme Park.     Dog owners should note that the kitchen/living area is open plan. The property is situated in a very quiet, rural, area so expect a short drive to shops and pubs.. This is peace and quiet at it’s very best and very enjoyable.
