Lovely cottage had everything you needed, just a few things the switches are all over the house but not were you expect so the one for the stairs we found in the kitchen after going up in the dark its was very odd, the local pub is good and good food its only a short walk but its very dark and at one point we had to walk on the road so not good, there was torches in the cottage but they were too small and didn't show any light so if your planning on going out on a night take your own torches. The only other thing was there should be a key box instead you have to ring the owner to come down and wait until you get there for the key felt a little bit as though we were getting vetted on arrival and didn't really give us any info just handed the key. And the same when you leave the owner came down 10 mins early and sat outside waiting for us to leave never had this before. But apart from that we had a lovely stay.

Me and my friend and our 2 dogs.. Hers a Daschund and mine a cocker spaniel. All loved everything about the cottage and grounds especially mine for her much needed exercise and it was all enclosed securely for their safety..The cottage/Weaning shed was beautifully kitted out with everything in it that you need for a home from home Holiday break. From bedrooms to kitchen etc.. all with comfort in mind.. The local village is as you expect and has a cafe and pub , the pub isn't open Mon/Tues so we had a meal there on Wednesday and it was lovely and the dogs were welcome in the bar area. A welcome gift was left in the fridge and Tea/Coffee was also there and a coffee maker which my friend loved using.. We had absolutely No problems and if needed to go further afield there is a little bus at set times but I had my car so no probs ..Many thanks to Audrey for meeting us with key and we will be back in March 2026.. already booked

A lovely cottage in a superb location. Very comfortable, well equipped and spotless clean, the owner had even decorated it with autumnal decorations.A welcome pack was provided for both the humans and the dog.I would definitely recommend the Weaning Shed and hope to return.
