In the kitchen area, you have a microwave combi oven to cook anything you fancy and a fridge with an ice box to store any sweet treats. Plate up whatever delicious food you’ve prepared at the breakfast bar in front of the window, or if the sun is shining, feel the fresh air wrap around you before you tuck in. Wash down your dinner with a favourite drink of your choice and look out at the sun. Watch it quietly ebb away, changing the sky to a warm, golden hue before the stars come out to play. Once you have finished gazing up at the pretty night sky, head back inside to call it a night on the double bed and listen out for the owls.

In the morning, start your day off just right with a quick walk across to the external shower room for a refreshing wash. An external cloakroom is also on hand. A shop and a pub are short drives away for any essentials or a meal out. For a lovely day out exploring, head to Beverley to view the historic Beverley Guildhall, stroll through the gorgeous Coronation Garden or find the perfect picnic spot in the Beverley Westwood park. In Hull, be in awe at some fine European paintings and sculptures at the Ferens Art Gallery, get up close and personal to fascinating sea creatures at The Deep or enjoy some classics on display at the Streetlife Museum.

In York, take in iconic locomotives at the National Railway Museum, wander through the fabulous York Castle Museum or treat yourself to a guided tour at York’s Chocolate Story. The Wolds Way walking trail passes by the farm and there are plenty of cycle routes nearby as well. The pretty town of Market Weighton is one of the main market towns in the Yorkshire Wolds and lies 20 miles from York. With many Georgian and Victorian properties, including an 18th century coaching inn, Market Weighton also holds a weekly farmers’ market. Within the town is a traditional village green with duck pond. This small town has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Yorkshire Wolds Way national trail, a long distance footpath, passes through the town which is surrounded by the gently rolling chalk hills.
