Lying just outside the centre of the bustling town of Coleraine is this fantastic three-bedroom third-floor apartment, Shell Hill Mews. This is a top award winning property which is registered through the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. Perfectly positioned for enjoying the delights of the Causeway Coast, with its pristine beaches and amazing coastal scenery, Shell Hill Mews is perfect for a family or group of six looking to get to know this thriving area of Northern Ireland. Access the apartment via a lift or the stairs, and be welcomed into the attractive modern open-plan living space, furnished with vibrant and colourful decor and receiving plenty of light from the large windows and skylight windows. The fitted kitchen has all you need for rustling up some family favourite dishes, with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dual washing machine/dryer among the appliances. A pretty dining table and chairs presents a great place to begin the day with a hearty breakfast, and end it here too with a family meal or a tasty takeaway, before you can relax on either of the plush sofas or armchair and enjoy some entertainment from the TV which has NOW TV; Netflix, DVD player and Nintendo Wii Games Console. The twin bedroom is perfect for children and has its own TV with Amazon & Netflix, the next bedroom is a double with a large window letting in lots of light, and finally a master King bedroom which has an en-suite shower room and a TV with NOW TV & Netflix. Serving the property is an excellent family bathroom with a four piece white suite including a bath and a walk-in shower. Enjoy experiencing all the delights of the 'capital of the Causeway Coast', head to Riverside Theatre and catch a show, located on the Ulster University campus which has a rich history as being one of Northern Ireland's oldest professional theatres, or for a more active day visit The Edge Watersports at the Crannagh Activity Centre where you can try waterskiing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, banana boating and a huge inflatable assault course on the River Bann. Royal Portrush Golf course is 3.9 miles away. The University Train Station is five minute walk and Coleraine town centre is also close. Take a riverside stroll and head to the beautiful Mountsandel Forest, home to the remains of Mountsandel Fort which dates back to 7000 BC. The Causeway Coast comes alive each year with the sound of roaring engines thanks to the North West 200, one of the fastest races in the world set up on the public roads between Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart to create a high-speed track for some thrilling sights, making Shell Hill Mews perfect for any bike enthusiasts who want to see it for themselves. Spend a beach day on Portstewart Strand or Downhill Beach (Castlerock), a Blue Flag awarded beach which you can drive onto and set up for the day, and from here begins the epic Causeway Coast Way, a 33-mile path which takes you along White Rocks beach at Portrush, Dunluce Castle, the Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and various Game of Thrones locations. Shell Hill Mews is a great base for an unforgettable trip to Northern Ireland.
Resting alongside the River Bann just a stone's throw from the north coast of Northern Ireland is the town of Coleraine, the informal capital of the Causeway Coast. Within just a few miles of some pristine beaches and stunning coastal views you can find a great selection of shops, pub and restaurants in Coleraine.
