Albert & Louise

We opened in September 2021. We designed the site with space in mind, we wanted to create a peaceful environment, and not have everyone packed in on top of each other. The site is spacious enough to allow guests to keep to themselves and have a private break. It is also designed with a large communal firepit that allows anyone that wishes to socialise to be able to do so. Each of our cabins has it's own private hot tub, exclusively for your use. The site is ideal for group bookings, family gatherings, anniversaries etc as we have only 3 cabins, with a maximum sleeping capacity for 10 adults.

Our kitchenettes are fully equipped with fridge, microwave, sink, cutlery, cups, plates, utensils etc. Each cabin also has its own bathroom and shower, so there is no need to share these facilities with other guests.

We are happy to socialise with guests, give advice on local eateries etc or leave you to yourselves, whichever you prefer.

We are hoping to get wifi installed soon, although our guests so far have enjoyed the switch off.

We really enjoy meeting people, and making them feel at home. It's so nice to see people going home from the stay relaxed and well rested, with big smiles on their faces, especially with all the stress lately. We love getting away on little breaks ourselves and designed the site around what we would ideally want from a break away; a hot tub, a fire-pit, a nice view and somewhere that we could cook were top of that list! We both enjoy the outdoors, I love horses and compete occasionally. We have 3 dogs that we walk, and there are some lovely walks around the area.

We are right beside Oak Fire Adventures, who offer Tree-trekking and Ziplining, through the beautiful forest and over the Faughan River Valley.

There's so many forests in the area too, and the Woodland Trust is working on a project to link them all and form a 28km walking trail, with the car park just yards from us.

We are only 6 miles from the City, there are so many fantastic restaurants and bars, and we are close enough to use the local taxi services.
