The chandelier lights up the cathedral style roof and epitomises the quality of the lodge and its sumptuous furnishings as well as proffering a lovely spacious feeling. Sharing its space with the cuddle sofa, dining area and bespoke kitchen. It has a luxury bathroom and shower room. Oxen Craig lodge is private and sitting amongst woodlands. There is a kingsize bedroom with separate walk-in shower room. Outside the lodge nestles amongst the woodland trees and is positioned to be totally private and is south facing and enjoys the whole days sunshine. A generous two tier deck leads to a two person wood burning hot tub, a gas barbecue is housed inside a gazebo and dining area for two. Beach 22 miles.
Oxen Criag Lodge can be booked together with Mither Tap Lodge (UKC5538), Bennachie Lodge (UKC5541) and Garioch Lodge (UKC5542) to accommodate up to 20 guests.

Fantastic hideaway. Total privacy away from the other lodges. Hot tub is easy to use, as is the BBQ. Keep an eye out for local wildlife....rabbits came out at dusk and a deer walked behind the lodge one evening.Lodge perfectly suited for couples and had everything we needed to cook own meals. Plenty of supermarkets close by, we did cick and collect from Morrisons in Inverurie. Just bear in mind that there isn't an awful lot of storage space for either food or clothes (space under the bed came in handy for clothes and bags).We had our dog with us. Plenty of dog friendly places to visit and local dog walks.Things to do locally - try Marshall's for coffee and cake (dogs are allowed in the Bothy) and Forest Farm Organic Dairy for fresh milk from a vending machine and delicious gelato.

What a lovely area of the world. The Lodge had everything you needed and the owners went above and beyond. We would use it again. Invururie was 10 minutes away and had every shop a normal big town would have and Aberdeen was 25 minutes away.

Lodge was lovely we used the BBQ and hot tub most night. There was plenty of supermarkets near by if you need anything and the weather was lovey all week.
