Loch Aweside Forest cabins are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, near Dalavich, on the banks of spectacular Loch Awe. Our selection of charming self-catering cabins are positioned on large, secluded plots, in a stunning location and provide guests with the experience of a true log cabin holiday. We have a varied selection of log cabins, sleeping up to 6 people. Cabins have many character features including, vaulted ceilings, raised verandas, hot tubs (extra charge of £99 / stay if required) at selected cabins and wood burning stoves in most cabins.

This unique location was created by the Forestry Commission as a place of tranquility, amid outstanding scenery. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground. There are forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions and is a world renowned destination for anglers.
wildlife-watching available at Dalavich is as good as it gets in the UK. Pine Marten and Red Squirrel are common and Osprey nest nearby. You can also see Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle, Red, Roe and Sikka Deer and an unparalleled amount of bird life.
Many visitors are captivated by the area, as we were, and return time and again to the shores of Loch Awe. We hope that you too will visit our highland hideaway and enjoy Dalavich's log cabins and the natural wonders of this unspoiled part of Scotland.

- PLEASE DO NOT MAKE BOOKING WITHOUT PROVIDING VALID CARD DETAILS, WITH SUFFICIENT FUNDS (I.E. FIRST NIGHT RENTAL) AVAILABLE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE £5 ADMIN FEE FOR DECLINED CARD TRANSACTIONS.
- PRE-PAYMENT EQUAL TO FIRST NIGHT'S RENTAL (MINIMUM £100) WILL BE COLLECTED FROM CARD DETAILS PROVIDED IMMEDIATELY AFTER BOOKING.
- A DAMAGE DEPOSIT OF £100 WILL BE ADDED TO BOOKING AND REFUNDED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF DEPARTURE, SUBJECT TO NO DAMAGE.
- BALANCE PAYMENT DUE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL BY BANK TRANSFER.
