Close to Loch Lomond, this light and airy cottage style accommodation has French windows, woodburning stove and small secluded walled garden. Excellent walking and cycling. Gareloch is just down the lane with a launching slip, ideal for canoeing, windsurfing, dinghies and fishing. Loch Lomond National Park and golf course, 15 minutes. Monro’s, Cobbler 20 minutes, Ben Lomond 40 minutes. Helensburgh 10 minutes, Glasgow 45 minutes. Shop 2 miles.. 2 steps to entrance.

Lovely cosy cottage with large log burner. Very close to Loch Lomond, Callander and Stirling. Good access to local shops etc. enjoyed a quiet week with our dogs. Owners were very helpful and we felt looked after. Highly recommended.

Gareside Lodge was a lovely place to stay: clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The underfloor heating and log burner meant we were very cosy, but do bring pound coins for the meter! We went in a rainy week in February, but in warmer weather it would have been lovely to sit out in the garden, where there is also a little summer house. There's a decent bus service from the end of the lane, and it's very near Hill House, which is well worth a visit.
