Benderloch 8.3 miles. This charming, semi-detached cottage of 12 Kenmore Cottages sits on the edge of Loch Etive on the edges of Bonawe near Benderloch, Argyll and Bute. A wonderful base for a family holiday, not only does 12 Kenmore Cottages enjoy gorgeous, lake views but is in an idyllic, remote location, so you can easily escape the hustle and bustle. Enter the property to find a well-equipped kitchen, a great space hosting a range of appliances for creating tasty meals with, along with a handy washing machine and dishwasher! When dinner is ready, enjoy it out in the garden as you admire those panoramic views of the water; in the cooler months, bring your meals to the living/dining room and tuck into them by the toasty woodburning stove. After dinner, retire to one of the plush sofas and enjoy a movie night on the TV or curl up with a captivating book. At the end of the day, ascend the stairs to come across two pleasant bedrooms, both of which offer doubles and one features zip/linked beds, adding flexibility to your sleeping arrangements. In the morning, enjoy a refreshing shower in the ground-floor bathroom before venturing out to explore the sights. Why not embark on a hike along the loch and soak up the vistas, or spend the day immersed in history at Ardchattan Priory, where fascinating ruins and gardens await. When it comes to your amenities, head to Benderloch, a charming village hosting a shingle beach for you to unwind on before purchasing essentials from the local shop or stopping for a bite to eat at The Hawthorn. Be sure to pay Oban a visit, a bustling town offering so much to do, such as exploring Oban Distillery and McCag's Tower & Battery Hill and touring the Oban War & Peace Museum; take this visit even further by boarding a ferry to the idyllic Isle of Mull for the day! The welcoming village of Benderloch is located in the West Highlands of Scotland, on the north side of Loch Etive, and is within the Lynn of Lorn National Scenic Area. Benderloch, located near the ocean and surrounded by stunning scenery and vistas, has a basic shop, two restaurants, a tea room, as well as a Nature Reserve and woodland hikes. Castle Stalker, a short drive north, is well worth a visit, while Ardchattan Priory Garden, which dates back to the 13th century, is also a must-see!
