Blackmount House is a stunning property with hot tub & sauna, situated in a peaceful and quiet area with beautiful views over to Beinn Glass. Conveniently only a 5-minute drive to Oban town centre; it’s the perfect place to stay if you want a rural escape with easy access to the town centre. A bright and airy, well laid out property, Blackmount is cosily heated by oil fired central heating, which provides copious hot water for the powerful showers. A fantastically social house with great connectivity, Smart TV, games and books and loads of room for all the family to enjoy a fantastic holiday.

The living room has a welcoming wood burner, perfect for cosy nights, and patio doors providing magnificent views into the countryside. The well-equipped modern kitchen with electric range oven is open plan with the dining space, perfect for a social holiday. Blackmount comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms. There is a shower room on the first floor and ground floor bathroom with large bath tub. The large utility room is great for when you come back from a day of activities to hang up all your jackets, pull off those wellies and dry the animals down.

The large garden space features a wood-fired hot tub, an outdoor hot/cold bath and a sauna room. While sitting in the hot tub enjoying a glass of bubbles, you have lovely countryside views listening to the wildlife that embraces this property. You have a great choice of walks on your doorstep, one being Glencruitten Woods. This area is a spruce plantation with a good network of forest roads, old tracks and trails and is only a 5-minute walk from the house.

If you fancy walking into Oban, it’s a pleasant 30-minute walk or a 10-minute cycle winding through the hills past the Golf Course and Riding Stables. Using the quiet lanes which form part of the National Cycle Route 78, you’re only a ten-minute drive from Connel famous for the stunning Falls of Lora and close to Dunstaffnage Castle and the Ocean Explorer Centre in the village of Dunbeg.

The bustling west coast harbour town of Oban has some excellent restaurants, cafés and pubs and lots going on for the visitor at any time of the year, with ferries leaving daily to many of the islands.
