Dalvuie Beag is a small, traditional detached West Highland holiday farmhouse situated in a peaceful location beneath the slopes of Ben Lora. Surrounded by fields with views of distant mountains and close to the sea, lochs and beaches, the farm has a small herd of cattle and flock of sheep with conservation of rich natural history a priority. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Any days where electricity use is over £8 per day, owner will charge the guest for this on their departure.
There are low ceilings, doors and/or beams within the property.
Pets must be kept on a lead at all times.

Great cottage with loads of character. The location within the farmyard mean there is always something going on to watch, especially the birdsMax & Frankie are wonderful hosts, always on hand if needed or leaving you to it if not.Great central location for Oban and the surrounding area with local amenities within a couple of miles

Thanks for a lovely stay Max and Frankie. Wonderful Hosts who greeted us on arrival and explained workings of things and were available for advice on walks. The cottage is lovely, very comfortable beds and everything we needed to really be home from home. We even got to go on an ecology wildflower survey on the farm with some visiting ecologists, our daughter being an ecologist, and she joined another survey on moths. The cottage is in a great location to visit Oban, Appin and around.

Superb cottage - very spacious, well equipped and pleasing furniture. The bedrooms were airy and comfortable. The sunny wood clad porch was a delight at all times of the day. The house is very dog (and family) friendly with a big utility and easy access to quiet and safe walks. As well as woodstoves there were easy to operate radiators. Frankie and Max were very welcoming, explaining how everything worked and took time to show us the farm. It was a pleasure to stay here and we highly recommend it.
