Bathroom: With bath and toilet. .  Oil central heating (underfloor on ground floor), bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.  Initial fuel for open fire included. .  Lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ.  2,000-acre unspoilt natural grounds and woodland (shared with owner).  2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country).  Private parking for 2 cars.  No smoking.  Please note: There is a small pond in the garden and there are slopes and a river in the grounds. .  Garden Cottage is a stone built, detached Victorian cottage in its own enclosed garden situated on Strachur Park.  The cottage is approached by 250 yards of rough farm track that leads from the village of Strachur along an avenue of beeches to the old walled garden, which is no longer in use, and to the fields and woods beyond.  The cottage is light and airy and all the rooms look out onto the peaceful parkland. 

Strachur is just a short walk away, with a post office/shop, petrol station and two local pubs; Dunoon is a half hour drive and has all main amenities, and there are several good restaurants close by and in nearby Inveraray.
