We had a wonderful stay at the Haven again our third in the last 12 months. The cottage has everything you need and is in a perfect position on the very edge of the estuary. When the tide is out it is the perfect place to walk our dog, when the tide is in you have good inland walks also. Nearest shopping is in Annan which is a short drive away with ample parking. Will definitely be back.

Although not the owners fault we had two weeks of major refurbishment going on in and outside of both connecting houses. The disruption to our holiday was too much that we came home early by two days. It would have been nice to have been warned in advance as these works had been going on for some time. However the owner when we complained gave us a partial refund. The cottage itself was well equipped and cozy.

We had a great 5 night stay last week. We took our Labrador Oakley and he loved it there with beach walks 3 times a day. We sat and had coffee in the front garden sunshine every day overlooking the estuary. The house was very welcoming and comfortable and we found a lovely gift waiting for us when we arrived. The rooms were light and bright and we would love to return later in the year.
