A very peaceful location with welcoming owners. The cottage is quite a distance from any large towns but that is exactly what we were looking for.Highly recommended place to stay with fantastic walks and scenery. Will definitely return.

A truly great lodge , comfortable with everything you need for a perfect stay.Lovely walks all close to lodge, Just take plenty of food with you a book and walking gear.Had a perfect week , weather was kind to us and Amor our Alaskan Malamute truly had a great time.Owners were so helpful and there to greet us on our arrival.Hope to stay again

We had a restful and peaceful holiday at Swallow Lodge. Steve and Jean were very welcoming and friendly. The area is fantastic for bird watching and historical interest. We would highly recommend this excellent quality,clean and well equipped holiday home.
