Ideally located on the edge of Dalbeattie Woods and just moment’s away from the local amenities, Moyle Lodge is a wonderful pet-friendly choice for couples, friends and families. Upon arrival, you will find three off-road parking spaces, along with a lovely, decked terrace where you can savour your morning coffee with a view. Step into your new home from home, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen/diner for cooking up your best dishes, ready to enjoy over a bottle of wine at the dining table for four. Continue through to the sitting room, where you can relax on the plush corner sofa and enjoy a movie night on the TV with loved ones. Completing the ground floor is a well-appointed shower room, ideal for freshening up after a day of exploring. Head upstairs, where you will discover a sleek bathroom for indulgent soaks, along with two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double with TV and a twin. Dalbeattie, a picturesque Scottish country town, is located in the southwest of the country. Located in a wooded valley on the banks of the River Urr, the town serves as a gateway to the stunning scenery of the Solway Coast, including its miles of sandy beaches and quaint fishing villages. Stone from the Dalbeattie granite quarry was shipped all over the world, including to the construction of the Eddystone Lighthouse and the Thames Embankment. Forest walks in Glentrool, where you can retrace Richard Hannay's steps in The Thirty-Nine Steps, and the nearby world-famous 7stanes mountain biking complex have made it a popular destination for those seeking a taste of the great outdoors. It was clean and tidy and the host communication was excellent. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We walked, cycled and ran from the door, without the need to be on busy main roads at all with Dalbeattie forest either side of the property. We visited the dog friendly cafe, which was approx 100 yards away and had a lovely breakfast and went into Dalbeattie where there were plenty of small shops to keep us stocked up. Overall a great stay and thank you to the hosts.

Really comfy and very well equipped. The lovely welcome pack including cake biscuits irun bru was a lovely touch and very welcomed. Quiet and peaceful location and would book again. Owner telephoned day before due to leave and offered free extra night due to bad storms recently which was very kind of her.

When we walked in it was all decorated with Xmas decorations,it's a lucky touch,with a few treats etc.the lodge was so comfy &warm.so peaceful. It's a wonderful experience & definitely would come again,thank you so much
