Lovely spacious, well equipped bungalow ticks all the boxes. It is ideally placed for exploring the area. We managed to visit three beaches and the marina at Kippford. I can recommend the food at the Ark tearoom. We also enjoyed visiting the Multiverse, Drumlanrig castle and Dumfries House. Robert Burns house takes a bit of finding but is worth a visit.
