Sand View is the perfect place to enjoy this much loved coastal resort in beautiful south west Scotland.

A lovely cottage with stunning views across the Solway Firth. It’s very well equipped & clean. The only thing that would have been helpful on a very hot week would have been to have a couple of fans available for use. Despite the cottage being next to a big caravan park there was no major issues with noise. There’s a chip shop, restaurants & a mini-mart within easy walking distance & there’s plenty to see & do in the surrounding area. The dog loved the beach & forest walks at Mabie, Dalbeattie & Glen Trool.

Perfect location for me, a lovely relaxing week at Sand View everything you would need was there and more. The conservatory was fantastic especially early morning with a cup of tea and book with the sun rise coming up it was perfect. My Cocker spaniel loved her walks on the beach and forests in the area.Perfect weeks stay 😁

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need and more. It's dog freindly Great views from the sunroom onto the shore at the end of the garden. My 2 adult daughters and myself plus 1 dog had a lovely relaxing time. Very pleasant host. I would recommend Sand View and will hopefully return in the future.
