The cottage is located in a small courtyard just off the main street and has easy access to the village of Gatehouse of Fleet, which is home to an attractive assortment of cafes, shops and restaurants. The Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre and Cally Gardens are perennial tourist favourites making Gatehouse of Fleet a popular destination. The location is superb. We are always so comfortable in the house and enjoy meeting up with the owner. We look forward to our next visit.

Excellent shower room. Any niggles - the wardrobe sliding doors were quite heavy and difficult to slide, and possibly the stairs would benefit from a bannister on both sides. Neither of these distracted our stay which was most enjoyable. A very intriguing town with history going back to the wool trade days. The Ship and the Masonic Arms two very good places to eat.

Itâs clean and very well equipped. Joan was incredibly helpful and a fab host. Gatehouse is a lovely place to visit with lovely shops and cafes etc. We will be back for sure.
