It is easily accessed from A75 Euro Route, A74(M) Lockerbie.The Cottage is deceptively spacious with ample room for a family of 7 or equally comfortable for just 2, it benefits from a ramp allowing wheelchair access and an open fire in the lounge ensuring a cosy choice regardless of the season.

If you want to unwind and relax then this is the place for you. Beautiful cottage. with excellent hosts. Dumfries is only about 7 miles away, or Lockerbie 5 miles for your provisions. If you choose you can explore the Solway coast, knowing you have the perfect holiday cottage to return to. I highly recommend Halliday Hill cottage and look forward to returning later this year.

Great location with stunning views. Cottage is very spacious and comfortable. We needed wheelchair access and found the cottage just right. Would definitely recommend the cottage for a lovely holiday.

A very cozy and spacious house with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean and well prepared. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The house is surrounded by fields, offering complete relaxation. Dumfries is only a 15-minute drive away, with plenty of shops and cafés. As for thibgs to see around, you can visit historical places such as Caerlaverock Castle, The Crichton Trust with its beautiful park, The Robert Burns Centre, etc. Our family highly recommends this place.
