Situated in the heart of the Victorian spa town of Moffat, this 250-year-old, stone, end-terraced cottage retains its traditional character and is an ideal base from which to explore the area. Horse riding, quad biking and golf are all available locally and the 7stanes offers world class mountain biking across Dumfries and Galloway, and the Scottish Borders. Rod hire is available in town for three fishing lochs at the Green Frog Centre on the edge of Moffat, which also has an adventure play park and animal farm. Edinburgh, Carlisle, Glasgow and the historic castles and abbeys in the borders are within an hour of Moffat. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend an entire month at this lively cottage in Moffat. It was very cozy and exactly the quiet country getaway we hoped for! The cottage has all of the amenities you might need for a long stay and the beds were very comfortable. The location could not be better. The center of town is just at the end of the street and you can easily walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The Coop grocery is also a short walk away. I highly recommend this lovely cottage and drinks & food at The Coachman!

Our 3rd visit to Kirsty cottage,We have stayed here in November and it's just a perfect cottage, relaxing comfortable, all amenities on your door step. The local people are so lovely, If you have a pet pooch (we have) it's a dog lovers paradise, even when your dog needs a *** at 2.30 in the morning, a stroll in the market town I felt safe and relaxed although tired, Just a perfect way to relax at Kirsty Cottage.
