Rod hire is available in town for three fishing lochs at the Green Frog Centre on the edge of Moffat, which also has an adventure play park and animal farm. The cottage was just off the town centre so everything was within walking distance. Lovely riverside walk nearby. Plenty of places to eat out within a few minutes walk. Wi-fi was good, we chose to unload the car and park on High Street, mainly as a courtesy to residents. The parking was free and a 1 minute walk. Lots to see in the area. Annandale distillery worth a visit. Owner was helpful when we rang to arrange getting into the property and when we rang because We couldn’t get on the wi-fi but that was us, not a problem with the wi-fi🙄
