Lovely cottage, very clean and well presented. Garden, safe for dogs. Kitchen is quite small so could be challenging if wanting to cook a meal.

Lovely cottage with homely feel. Comfortable beds and settees. Garden a bit overgrown, just needs cutting back. Plenty of wildlife around, tawny owl, birds and toads in garden. Deer crossing road nearby. Plenty to visit in area. Recommend Glenwhan Gardens - so pretty and peaceful. Creetown museum is brilliant but unfortunately closing in October. Hopefully we'll return soon.

Enjoyed our week’s stat at River Cottage. Home from home. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice relaxed feel to the whole place. So lucky with the weather so managed to sit in the lovely garden at the back. My granddaughter loved playing in the garden and out little old dog even managed to chill.
