The enclosed garden is loved by dogs, and the hot tub is a popular feature, despite one mention of maintenance issues. It's considered an ideal retreat for both relaxation and exploring the Dumfries and Galloway area.

The property is consistently described as very clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.

The location is appreciated for its beautiful views and peacefulness, with proximity to scenic places and towns. However, one review mentioned a lack of activities for children in rainy weather.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy bedrooms, a spacious garden, and a quality interior, suggesting a very comfortable stay.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen and garden. The hot tub is a highlight, though one review cited issues with its heat retention and maintenance.

Fabulous spacious cottage in a beautiful area. Hot tub was a bonus and great to relax in on a November evening with the stars and moon above!

Lovely house everything catered for. Beautiful views. Only thing that that let it down was the hot tub, it didnt hold its heat, the lights on the hot tub didnt work and it was only checked daily for temperature. In the week we were there we never saw it be dipped for chemicals or its pH balance and no chemicals were added. In other places we have stayed the hot tub was dipped daily and were necessary chemicals added.

This cottage is perfect! Great location, fabulous view and beautiful inside and out. So well equipped with quality in mind. It is spacious and so comfortable. Large, secure wrap around garden and great hot tub. Everything you are likely to need is provided. We loved it and will be back next year having booked again. It is the best cottage we have stayed in over decades of cottage holidays. Cannot fault it!
