Put your feet up and cosy up around the crackling wood-burning stove whilst winding down at night with your favourite programme on the TV. We absolutely loved the Cartshed. It’s a unique, characterful conversion with exceptional attention to detail, and we would highly recommend it. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, greeting us with the most exquisite welcome hamper, complete with a bottle of Prosecco.Set in an idyllic, peaceful and secluded location, it’s perfectly placed for beautiful beaches, wonderful forest walks, and is ideal for dogs. Nestled in the heart of Robert Burns Country, there are so many fascinating historic sites and places to explore. It was the perfect countryside retreat, and we can’t wait to return.

We had a peaceful, relaxing week in the beautiful Cartshed. The property is well-equipped, bright and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the garden. Squirrels, hens and a variety of birds were regular visitors.I would definitely recommend the Cartshed, for anyone looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of urban living.

Cannot recommend this holiday accommodation enough. It’s in a beautiful location, just perfect for getting away from it all. The property is well furnished, comfortable beds and seating. Good range of kitchen essentials, plenty for making a lovely meal.Just a few miles. From Ayr or Prestwick for fabulous beaches, which are dog friendly.This was our second visit, and I’m sure we’ll be back soon.
