Situated in a historic townhouse it is right in the heart of this picturesque town and dates back to the early 1800s and with the town accessible on foot in just a few minutes.
Queensferry has so much to offer, whether you would like to enjoy an ice cream, cake, pastry, pub meal or restaurant meal. It is literally, all on your doorstep! You can enjoy a wooded walk, beach walk, a stroll to the harbour or marina, or a walk across the Forth. Stroll along to Hawes Pier just a few minutes walk from the house and take a boat trip to Inchcolm Island or take the lovely forest walk along the shore. Port Edgar sailing school is also a short walk away for watersports with fishing, golf, horse riding and mountain biking all close by. Beach 50 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

A fantastic stay at Forth Reflections. It exceeded our expectations. Easy to find, parking available right outside our door. The house is shared with the family who owns it, but the guest accommodation is completely private, with its own entrance. The keys were in a lockbox, there were two sets. We arrived quite late in the evening and were delighted to find an excellent welcome pack, enabling us to make cheese on toast and have a cuppa, so we didn’t need to find a shop that evening. The shower was good and hot and the bath deep enough for a good soak! Taps were a bit wobbly, but this didn’t hinder us in any way.The bed was very comfortable. Two lovely pillows each, and the house was a good temperature throughout the stay. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. On the Saturday evening, the teenagers who lived downstairs had music on - and we actually enjoyed their taste - all our era! It stopped promptly at 9pm and we didn’t hear anything else all week, it was a lovely, quiet and relaxing stay.I took the train into Edinburgh- a 5 minute drive to Dalmeny station and I was in Edinburgh in about 20 minutes. I also took the train across the Forth Bridge, this time to Dunfermline, where I had a good shopping spree - including quite a few bargains from the many charity shops there.We had two lovely meals out at Thirty Knots, highly recommended, especially the Sunday lunch. I can’t leave this review without mentioning the incredible view from the bay window. It was ever changing. I’ve seen all weather except snow snd hail! The sunsets were beautiful - I was never up early enough for a sunrise though! One could sit watching that view all day and not be bored!We would both absolutely love to return to Forth Reflections. I have read some reviews which were not as complimentary - everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but my review is genuine and a true account of our stay - do not be put off by the things others have written!!!
