The Abingdon 14 is a beautiful lodge only a 5-minute drive from St Andrews, home of golf and situated on the Stewarts Resort, this is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside, Fife coastal path and quaint East Neuk seaside villages. As a self-catering lodge, you’ll find everything you need for a perfect stay and memorable holiday. A fully equipped kitchen, an open plan living/dining room with electric fire to keep you cosy and warm on chilly nights. The lodge is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and internet access. Private decking with outdoor furniture and a private hot tub for two. The master bedroom with double bed and en-suite toilet, and two twin bedrooms. There are a further two bedrooms with a single bed and a pull-out bed which is stored below, however please be aware that the rooms are quite small so when both beds are up there is limited room. The family bathroom with shower enclosure completes this property.
St. Andrews may be famous for its championship golf courses, but this charming and historic town is also a wonderful place for holidays.It has a lovely old-world atmosphere that comes from its old university and medieval buildings. In amongst the cobbled streets and narrow alley ways of the medieval town centre, offering plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. Discover St. Andrew’s Castle, cathedral and adjacent church of St. Regulus, and climb the steps in the tower for magnificent views over the town. This is a coastal town with access to a wide sandy beach where you can stroll or indulge in some seal spotting which can often be seen off this coast. Whether you are looking to tee off, bask in the royal history or explore the local wildlife St. Andrews is definitely the place for you. Beach 5 miles.
