Caledon is a great house to stay in if you are staying in Aviemore or around that area.The house itself is of a good size, except for the kitchen, which is compact, but it has everything you need.The reason my overall rating is not higher is the fact that the furniture is dated, the sofa is not so comfortable, and the ensuite is full of mould in the shower area (I did not see any air vent in the bathroom, and that might be the reason).The garden wraps around the house, and it is fully enclosed, which is great for pet owners and I imagine for families with small kids too.Overall a great property to stay and to explore the beautiful Cairngorms area and beyond.

Caledon is a very comfortable and spacious bungalow within a few minutes of the town centre. For those wishing to cook, it has everything you need. We opted to eat out as there are so many good restaurants that allow dogs. The garden was perfect for our golden retriever. En-suite shower was great. Parking for 2 cars. We had an enjoyable stay.If you want perfect, the lounge suite needs replaced but its still comfortable but not pretty! Also, for those of us with sensitive noses far too many reed diffusers! Was easily remedied though as we only used 1 of the 3 bedrooms. Overall a great find and would love to visit again.

Wonderful week in Aviemore. Everything you could want in the cottage, some bits of furniture a bit tired looking but comfy beds, great shower and garden perfect for the fog.Definitely recommend and be back soon.
