Only 1 mile from the sea, this detached single-storey property offers a peaceful place in which to relax and enjoy the magnificent surroundings. Perfectly placed for touring the West Highlands, climbing, hill walking, mountain biking, water sports, fishing, golf and skiing can be enjoyed. Boat and ferry trips to nearby islands. Good local restaurants and pubs. Shop ¾ mile.. 4 steps to entrance.

There is a fuel supplement of £35, payable on arrival from the beginning of October to the end of March. The garden has a deer fence so it may be possible for a smaller dog to sneak out but a larger one would be fine

We have mixed feelings about Bidean Lodge. On the positive side: it’s in a great location with walks on the doorstep, lovely big garden which our dog loved, the sofas and beds were comfortable and - if it were refurbished - it has great potential. However, several negatives: too many to list here but it wasn’t super clean, there’s mould and mildew in the bathrooms and everything feels a bit tatty. We’ve stayed in many properties for a similar price and feel this one is a little neglected and in need of some TLC. I’ve sent a list of suggestions to the owner in the hope it might inspire some improvements. Definitely didn’t feel like a 4 star property as advertised, more like 3.

This place is genuinely so lovely. The lodge is clean, has everything you need when it comes to kitchen utensils, even had board games, cards and dvds provided, the owners are incredible too, very friendly and helpful and we had the best time and can’t wait to be back! The whole area is absolutely fantastic too with so much to explore!
