We spent 4 nights here . Mill cottage provided a good base to explore from. It was comfortable enough but would benefit from a little update. The staff in the mill were really helpful and overall we had a lovely time.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Scottish cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The heating took a little while to figure out, but once we got it sorted it was fine. The hosts were really helpful and friendly, even popping round to make sure everything was OK, which we really appreciated. The nearby mill was fascinating to visit we were delighted to get free entry, and the volunteers there were so knowledgeable and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the special Halloween event they put on while we were there, which was great fun and added something extra to our stay. We loved the beautiful coastal walk into John o Groats too, where we were lucky enough to see seals and plenty of bird life along the way. All in all, a really memorable stay in a great location. Highly recommended!
