Guests say

West End Cottage is praised for its excellent location in Carrbridge, close to amenities with easy access to local attractions and walks. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space and on-site parking, though the separate garden is noted. The cottage's charm is slightly marred by low ceilings, which may pose a challenge for taller visitors.

The cottage is consistently described as clean and cosy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests are satisfied with.

The location is highly regarded for its proximity to local amenities, forest trails, and the Cairngorm National Park, making it an ideal spot for visitors.

The cottage offers adequate space and is cosy, but comfort is compromised for taller individuals due to low ceilings and a deep bath that is difficult to access.

Facilities are generally well-received, but some maintenance issues like a poor shower, damaged curtain, and chipped mugs have been noted, suggesting room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The cottage was in a great location just off the centre of Carrbridge and near the distinctive bridge. The cottage had everything we needed and all the arrangements worked well.

West End Cottage was in an excellent location, close to all local amenities and adequate space, however, ceilings are low and would be a challenge for those close to 6ft or taller. Instructions for heating etc were easily accessible. Parking on site was an advantage. The bridge is a short walking distance from the cottage with Landmark and the local park within walking distance also. Forest trails and river walks are nearby also. Highly recommended having dinner at The Cairn and breakfast / coffee & cake af Carrbridge Kitchen.

Nice and central in the village, good food walks, it was clean and cosy! The garden was great for the dog. The only small complaint was the shower in the bath my partner's head was hitting the roof !
