Found on a quiet residential street in the charming coastal town of Cromarty is this traditional detached cottage built round 1911 on the site of the historic fire station. Lydia Cottage is the perfect base for discovering the sandy beaches, seaside villages and bottlenose dolphins in this beautiful area of Scotland. The cottage offers guests a peaceful location, with traditionally styled features including an open fire, slate flooring and sloping ceilings, and is close enough to the sea to hear the waves lapping against the shores of the Cromarty Firth. Make yourselves at home within the sitting room complete with an open fire as you savour a glass of wine on the sofa and find your favourite programme to watch on the TV. Rustle up a delicious meal in the kitchen/diner, and sit out in your own private garden in the warmer months, soaking up the tranquillity of your dwellings all beneath the clear evening sky. Move up to the first floor to find the twin bedroom, where you can reminisce over the day's events whilst watching the twinkling night sky from the enchanting skylight.
