The cottage was warm and comfortable with outstanding and beautiful views of the bay. It's location is ideal for exploring the area, and the beach is a very short walk away. This resulted in a most enjoyable holiday.

The house has plenty of space, the decor is a little tired and some bits are in need of repair but the view is to die for. The bedrooms are comfortable and the downstairs shower has amazing water pressure. The kitchen area is vast and their is enough room to seat eight round the table. The house has an interesting heating gradient from hot near the arga to cold at the far end. The bedrooms have little heating pads under the bedding, which makes getting in lovely. And if you feel the cold there are heaters in every room. The place has WiFi it's not sparkling but enough to browse on. The sun lounge extension runs the length of the house and has commanding views of the beautiful beach below. You can access the beach by walking down past the private house just across the little road that runs along the front of the property. The tides are quite gentle and there are caves you can explore one on foot the other via a SUP or canoe. There is also a little coffee shop 50 yards round the corner (perch on the edge) it keeps random opening times but does serve a good coffee and cake. Smoo cave is very nearby and worth a walk or a drive if your not into your steps. Definitely worth a stay as the cove is a world class beach that you'll have mainly to yourself.
