This attractive detached ‘long house’ is situated in the small crofting community of Feriniquarrie, near Glendale on the Isle of Skye. All on the ground floor, you can relax in the front of the wood burner in the living room. The kitchen/dining room is well-equipped should you wish to make an evening meal or lunchtime snack. There is a double sofa bed in the living room, a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite facilities, and a single bedroom. The family bathroom completes the picture.
The property is only a 5-minute walk from the shore where you can perhaps catch sight of otters and many species of bird life. It enjoys views across the surrounding croftland to the waters of Loch Pooltiel (sea loch), and makes the perfect holiday base for exploring this beautiful island. Alternatively, sit outside and enjoy the tranquil surroundings and the magnificent sunsets.

Just back from the most fantastic holiday in Skye!Cottage had everything you could need and location was spectacular. Didn't want to come home! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful place, wonderful location. Loved the walk down to the beach, short drive to the local shop and met many a sheep with lamb en route. Seeing the buck in the morning was a real bonus. Inside it was homely, comfortable and clean. Plenty of books and DVD’s for the evenings. Had a lovely time and would absolutely book again.
