It took some finding FARR , but if it's peace and quiet you want, this is as quiet as it gets. Turn off the A9, and go past the 1st left turn, but 400 yards further on is the best way up.Parking is opposite the cottage but have a good parking brake, it's on a steep hill/ bend.Brilliant views, so quiet. The cottage felt cozy, the porch was a lovely spot to relax in. Tv if you want it is temperamental. The bedrooms are in my opinion the wrong way round. Far better to put the twin beds as bunks, and put the main bed in the larger room . However, you have to adapt to things, and we did. Mattress could do with a softer feel but overall we loved the location , and would return .

We had another lovely stay at Farr. The location and view is beautiful and the cottage is very cosy. We’ll be back again next year.
