Lay your head under the same roof as Bonnie Prince Charlie once has. Legend has it that this splendid Scottish house is where he stayed before picking the white rose that would become his emblem. Savour its rich Jacobite history along with its picturesque Highland surroundings. Near Kinlocheil by Loch Eil, it is surrounded by 22,000 acres of its own beautiful estate land and sleeps up to 10 guests. The six-bedroom house, which has views towards Ben Nevis and includes a games room, is also well-positioned for access to Fort William.

Feel the wealth of character still present in this period house. Enjoy its wood panelling, open fire and elegant wrought-iron staircase. From the hall, find your way through to the lounge, where you can light the open fire and perhaps tickle the ivories on the grand piano. Prepare meals for your party in your bright kitchen, while friends and family sit at the table to chat with you. Dine in your elegant dining room, imagining all those who have sat around candle-lit tables here in the past. Challenge each other to a snooker match on the small table in your games room and enjoy having a utility room and drying room for all your damp outdoor gear. Find a WC also on the ground floor of the house. Follow the ornate staircase up to the first floor where all your bedrooms are located. You’ll find three bedrooms either have en-suite bathrooms or access to an adjoining shower room in the main part of the house, while in the west wing, three more bedrooms share two family bathrooms. Enjoy having your own private garden while on holiday: play with the children out here, dine at the outdoor table to the stunning backdrop of Scottish countryside and venture further into the estate on group walks.

Please note: an additional cottage can also be booked to accommodate larger parties. There is an adjoining lockable door between the two properties bringing the total capacity of the house to 14.
