This warm and welcoming cottage is set in a truly stunning location on the unspoilt banks of Loch Duich, on the edge of the tiny village of Letterfearn, with the full range of the Five Sisters of Kintail directly opposite. Ideal for a couple, a small family group or group of friends, this cottage will tick all the boxes and ensure that guests have a wonderful holiday in the stunning West Highlands of Scotland. The spacious sitting/dining room has a large picture window from which not only the amazing views can be enjoyed, but it is also possible to do some wildlife spotting from the comfort of your armchair. On a good day, pine martens, badgers and even deer can be spotted in very close proximity! The well-equipped kitchen has everything to ensure meals can be prepared with ease, and there are two very fresh and comfortable bedrooms and a shower room. A pretty and spacious garden surrounds the cottage and there is even a stream with a bridge. What a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee whilst soaking up the amazing views all around! If you can drag yourself away from this idyllic holiday hideaway then there are certainly lots of things to see and do. Just a short drive away on the opposite shores of the loch is the world famous Eilean Donan Castle, which offers excellent guided tours and a popular shop and restaurant. Continue west and cross the bridge to Skye or explore the west coast and perhaps visit the village of Plockton, home to Hamish Macbeth! For walkers, it is a paradise and even in inclement weather the beauty of this area cannot be denied. A simply ideal holiday cottage to ensure an unforgettable holiday.
Letterfearn is a tiny village on the western shores of Loch Duich, amidst stunning scenery in the Scottish Highlands. From Letterfearn guests can explore the Isle of Skye, Kyle of Lochalsh, Eilean Donan Castle and much more. The area is brimming with spectacular scenery, wonderful walking trails and plentiful wildlife, making it a great base for a Scottish break. Sailing on Loch Duich, boat trips and cycle paths or quiet strolls under the palm trees at Plockton can all be enjoyed from this quiet Scottish village.
